Greg and Angie kindly hosted this years festivities...
It was the perfect weather, and the food was awesome!
Big sister keeping tabs on little brother while I help clean up, Addison you rock!
"Ball!"
He is not his father's child...he doesn't love ice cream. How can you not like ice cream?!?!?
Each family was asked to bring a pie, along with other various assignments, and this was Mark's contribution. You can't go wrong with a maple bar/doughnut hole pie!!
It was a huge hit with all the kids! :)
Then after dinner, we all sat around the basketball court in a circle to tell something we are thankful for and play a few games.
Wyatt really liked the M&M treats that went along with the telling of things you are thankful for!
One of the games was trying to get the oreo from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands.
There weren't many who succeeded...it was really hard!
Then the grand finally...russian rullet eggs...
4 of the 12 eggs were hard-boiled. You had to choose one, once you touched it you got that one, and then smash it on your head.
Mark either chose, or had someone else's raw egg smashed on his head...
He managed to get all four.:)
After the games...dancing and playing. It was a very fun night!
While we were in Mesa for Thanksgiving, we got to go see the lights on the temple grounds. They are really beautiful.
Reilynn found a very nice cousin, (Sydney) who carried her around some of the time.
We are so thankful for family! We are thankful to be closer so we can gain stronger relationships with family! We are thankful for our health! But most of all, we are so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father and a Savior who guides and blesses our lives daily!
