Paint...black paint

Random:  Wyatt's favorite thing to do is take all the balls from the ball bin on the patio and throw them into the rocks.   Drives me bonkers!!!
Mark built this cart to put the projector and speakers on for watching movies outside.  He enlisted some cute helpers to paint it.
What these pictures don't show is the black paint splatters and swipes on the concrete by the hose from them "cleaning" their brushes out...
It also doesn't show them getting bored after 10 minutes, and me finishing the job the next morning. :)
It's a good thing they are cute!

Take-Your-Child-to-Work-Day

Let the record show that I showed my children exactly what a mom does at her "work" day. :)
She plays hooky and visits Grandma and Grandpa!!!
Apparently, on "take your child to work day" they can't count it as an absence...so we took advantage of the situation and went to St. George for the day.
The kids swam and played outside all day...it was heaven!
 Wyatt loves his grandpa!!!
This slide at my parents doesn't look like much, but it zooms!!!
Until we put this pad at the bottom, Wyatt wouldn't go down with out holding someone's hand or going on their lap.
 Ta-Da!
We have also now learned to say "cheese."
Brian and Ashley came to spend a few days in St. George, so we saw them for a little bit too.  They just can't get enough of us!! :)

Obsessed

This kid has to have a ball in his hands at all times....seriously...all times!
 Eating, sleeping....all times!
He's pretty coordinated though! :)

Soccer Times Four

Soccer season is in full force.  Parker has done really well this season!  His first game he scored the only 2 goals of the game, and they won 2-1.  He hasn't played soccer since he was 4 at the YMCA, and then his mom put him on a team (not knowing) that was up a level, playing with 12-14 year olds.  I was a little worried, but it has been great.  Parker has had so much fun, and according to him soccer is his new favorite sport. :)
Addison has been begging me to put her on a soccer team for a while now.  We missed the last season, and she has really had a good time this season.
Her favorite position is forward, but the coach has been putting her in as goalie when the kid who normally plays goalie has been gone.  She hates it, but she does pretty good!
This is Reilynn's first experience playing sports.  She loves going to practice, and she loves the treat after the game...but the only time I have seen her touch the ball in a game is if someone kicks it right at her. :)  We'll get there.

Bailey has been on a fun team this season with lots of friends from school and church.  She has really had a good time!!!
Wyatt is in a constant state of torture during all these soccer games.  He wants to be out in the field playing so bad!  "Mom!!!  Ball!!!  Ball!!!!  Mom!!!  Ball!!! Ball!!!"
"Cheese."

Kasidee chose not to play.  Cheer is now over, and she is enjoying having some free time.  But we are on the look-out for her next "something."

34 Tons of Dirt

34 tons of dirt was delivered...we are ready to start our first backyard project.
I'm not going to lie, I wish our first backyard project was a pool...but I am still SO excited to have grass!
So...the dirt in Vegas is the worst!  Nothing can grow, hence the 34 tons of top soil.
It is a little strange going from a place that grass grew EVERYWHERE, even where you didn't want it to grow...to we are going to have to work really hard and be very careful to keep this precious patch of grass green and alive.
The kids took full advantage of the pile of dirt.  It was literally hours and hours of entertainment!

Wyatt didn't want to touch the dirt with his toes.  "Yucky Toes!" (name that comedian)

Oh, ya big cry baby!!

Addison wanted to help me make the pico for dinner.  I tried to give her the tomatoes, but she wanted to cut the onions.
This was her first experience cutting an onion.  She did a great job...with only a few tears.  :)
Addison has really come into her own lately.  She is such a big help with her siblings, she is excelling in school, and she brings peace to our home...most of the time.:)

Rock Star

This little dude has discovered head phones.  They are pretty fun, I will admit that!
Bailey helped Wyatt find a rockin' station on pandora to pop his knee to.  Thanks Sister!
He's feelin' this one!

Easter

The Easter Bunny did it again...jelly bean trails to find their baskets.  He got a little lazy this year though...it was a straight shot to the goodies, none of this follow-the-trail-around-the-couch business!
 Reilynn and Bailey's baskets...
 Parker and Wyatt's...
 Kasidee and Addison's...
None of our kids, I take that back, one of our kids likes jelly beans (Wyatt, who hasn't really experienced the good stuff yet). So the bags of jelly beans pretty much goes untouched...spoiled rotten children!
The Easter bunny has even branched out and left starburst or jolly rancher jelly jeans...no luck.
Sorry for the blurry pic, but here is Reilynn showing off her new Lego Friend set.
 New flip flops for everyone.
Wyatt was a little late waking up, so he had his solo trail left to find...
And he was in heaven.  Heck no, I'm not putting these treasures in a bag...they go directly in my mouth!!!
 ....ALL OF THEM...at once!!! :)
Here they all are...Lego-ing together.  I love Bailey's face, that girl and her attitude! :)
We had a great Easter/conference weekend.  It was so nice to relax at home and hear all the amazing talks and feel the true spirit of Easter all day.
