Parker is lucky he is the oldest!

Reilynn and I watched a friends little guy during Bailey's preschool this morning.
(Side-note: Bailey yelled "I hate preschool" the whole way to preschool when she found out she didn't get to stay home and play with this little dude too.)
Reilynn tried to carry him around (even though he weighs more than her), sit him on her lap, and yes,
GLitTeR him up!  Little Max was a trooper!
See Parker, it could be worse...you could be the youngest boy with 4 older sisters!

The end of another season...

...and Parker's slacker mom didn't get one picture of him playing basketball.  Luckily there is one more game, but the way things have been going at our house lately, I'm not holding my breath.
Thanks YMCA for providing fun activities to wear out my all boy little boy!

Why my hips are the size of Texas

This is what happens when I have a child home sick for a whole week.  I bake cookies...oh, and every medicine permantly resides on our counter until the illness has subsided.
Poor Bailey hasn't felt good for what seems like FOREVER!  I don't know if my hips can take much more.  I know, it shouldn't be about me, but seriously...a week of not leaving my house.  I am going to go bonkers.

Go Aggies!

For Christmas this year, I gave Mark a trip back to Logan to see the Aggies play basketball.
It was so fun to drive around and see all our favorite spots and remember...
From the top left down:  Mark's first apartment before we got married, the Budge house, Twin Creek, Chi Omega, and last but not least, the Inferno (our first house).
You can't go to Utah and not have Cafe Rio.  We were just sad that we only went once..mmmmmmmmm!
Aggie Ice Cream...(sorry, but Blue Bell is better, shh don't tell Mark I said that)
 A little catching up...
And this is where you come to be a True Aggie.
When you receive a kiss under a full moon at midnight by somebody who is already a "True Aggie," or on Homecoming, you are considered a True Aggie.
If I'm not mistaken, students from Utah State set a world record for the "longest kissing chain" when people locked lips in the school's quad.

Oh wait just a second,
 I just need to...,
 Ok, that's better...
After the reminicing we went to the main event.
Poor Aggies don't have a very good team this year, but it was still fun to go to a game.

We were sad that we didn't get to see everyone we wanted to.  2 days is not nearly enough time, but we are already planning our next trip up!

Light Bulb

I know what we should do with our old mattress...
 Tear off the pillow top,
 Rip it to shreds,
 And play in it!!!!
Thanks dad, that was a great idea! (Said with a lot of sarcasm from me, if you couldn't tell.)

Fun in DC

I was so lucky to be able to go to DC and spend a quick weekend with my brother Dustin...isn't he cute!
We went to Georgetown and ate lunch at this really yummy Greek sandwich and salad place.  If I remembered the name I would tell you, because it is worth going to!
Putting Dustin in charge of the camera, not a good idea.
Then we headed to the National Mall, went into the Flight and Space Museum (dad you will love this place) and saw a 3D Imax on the Hubble Telescope (mom you will love this).
We ran into the Museum of Natural History, saw the dinosaurs, then ran over to the Museum of American History and saw the Star Spangled Banner and the exhibit with all the first ladies' dresses.  By this time I was completely museum-ed out!  I can only take so much.  I am not one of those people who can read every plaque, and look for hours.
I love how there are people everywhere.  There was a rugby game going on in the square, millions of runners, and of course, lots of tourists.
Dustin hadn't been over to the Jefferson Monument, so we chose this one to go see.  We had a limited amount of time.
We caught the Jefferson right at sunset, it was beautiful!
Thanks Dustin for a great weekend!  I had so much fun just hanging out with just you, I don't think we have been able to do that in years.
What an amazing city DC is!
