Spooky

Happy Halloween!!!

We had rain for 2 days straight...and we are talking flood the streets rain, not a drizzle.

Luckily, it stopped raining just in time to put on our costumes and go get some candy!
We had a really fun group of kids to go with...we had 12 kids in all.
Quite the crew!
Here is the rundown, if you can't tell what everyone is...
Addison was a gypsy, complete with glitter in her hair and make-up...she looked so old!
Reilynn was a cute kitty, with gypsy jewelry of course.

Kasidee was Merida from Brave. Sadly, her wig was super heavy and didn't last long. But she was still a cute blonde Merida when it came off.
Our kitty again...(I couldn't leave this one out!)
Our little pumpkin man...stuffing included. :)
Wolverine. (Funny story.  Parker had awesome long hair that we spiked just like Hugh's for the trunk-or-treat.  Not thinking clearly, I gave him his much needed haircut before Halloween.  Boo!  It really was awesome, and of course I didn't get one picture at the trunk-or-treat!!!)
 Bailey was another beautiful gypsy.

I hope y'all had a very fun Halloween, and you ate as much candy as our family consumed!

Blessing Wyatt

Grant and Judy were able to fly down for Conference weekend and be here for Wyatt's blessing.
It was spoiling to have them all to ourselves!  We enjoyed every minute!

I hear what you are thinking..."HE'S HUGE!"  I know, I know.  We wanted to wait for Grant and Judy to be able to come, so we waited a little longer to bless him.
It was so worth it!  What a neat experience to invite friends over and bless him in our home.

Thanks Grandma and Granddad!  We miss you already!

Go Texans!

It has been so much fun watching Parker play flag football this year!  Something clicked, and he is understanding the game better, and really having fun!
Wyatt is always a hit on the sidelines!
 Always! :)
Here are some shots of Parker in action...

Welcome to the family Jess!

Mark and I just flew to Utah for Dustin and Jessica's wedding.  It was so much fun to see everyone!
 Same old dad...
Siblings

Here are my cutie patootie nephews with Wyatt.  Cohen and Wyatt are only 2 months apart.  It will be fun for them to be little buddies!

Cuteness!!!

This is Reilynn's favorite time to hold Wyatt...when she is watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Reading Time

We are back into the swing of school, which means everyone is required to read for 20 minutes every day...
I love when it happens like this!!!

8 sandwiches later...

The first day of Reilynn's preschool where she had to have a lunch was yesterday....which meant I had to make five lunches.  Which means 5 sandwiches, right? No.
I thought I would be extra nice and cut off the crusts, because they don't love them...and then that didn't look like enough for Parker, so I made him two. Now we are up to 6.
And Reilynn inspected her lunch before heading out the door and was really sad that I cut off her crusts, so I made one with crusts (only because it was her first day of preschool). Now we are at 7, not that you can't count on your own, I just like to say it out loud.
Okay, so we are at 7 sandwiches, and little miss R is still not happy.  I cut the sandwich in half, which apparently made her feel like less of a big kid.  ONLY because it was her first time packing a lunch for school, I made one last sandwich WITH crust, NOT cut in half!
Eight sandwiches in one morning.
 The end.
I can't believe we have 5 in school!!!

Preschool again

Reilynn is doing two preschools this year.  Here is the first day of Ms. Charlene's preschool. She is really excited!

She made sure I was going to just be dropping her off and not staying. She wants to be a big girl so bad!

Off to preschool

It is finally her turn to be a big girl and go to school too.  She couldn't wait to put on her back pack and head out the door!

First Day of School

Wow, I can't believe we have 4 in school!!!  (Bailey is trying to do an ASL "K" by the way)
Parker is in 4th grade this year.
He was a little nervous to start the year.  But he came home after the first day and said that 4th grade is awesome, "We get to eat our snack whenever we want!"
Bailey wasn't nervous at all.  She was just so excited that it was finally her turn to join the big kids!
When I asked her how her first day went she said it was bad because it was too short.:)
Kasidee couldn't wait to wear her new horse shirt on the first day of 4th grade.
She loves her new teachers, and she made a new friend, "and he was a boy."

Addison started 2nd grade this year. She was adamant that her shoes match her outfit, and no socks looked "way better" than with socks!
She was nervous, but her first day was great.  She knows EVERYONE in her class already...little miss popularity!
