Addison's early Celebrations
Addison's birthday isn't until June, but we are going to be out of town. So we had a little birthday party to let her celebrate with her frieinds. We had the water slide out, water balloons, relay bucket races (that turned out to be kind of a bust), cupcakes, and fun friends. This was Addison's first friend party, and she couldn't get over the fact that "all those presents are for me?"
Addison we love your spunk and kind heart. Happy early birthday!
Memorial Weekend
We went with some family and friends to the beach on Saturday. It turned out to be a lot of fun! The weather was pretty good, the water wasn't too cold, and everyone had a great time. Parker loved trying to ride the waves, Kasidee couldn't be happier rolling around in the sand, Addison liked jumping the waves and all the snacks we brought, and Bailey would sit in the sand and when the wave would recede she was too impatient to wait for another, she would chase after it.
For how white Mark is, he didn't even get burned, A VERY GOOD DAY!!!
Mark's Birthday
We have a ton of birthdays in May! Bailey is on the 16th, Mark is on the 21st, and Parker and Kasidee are on the 29th. Poor Mark is stuck in the middle of little kids that are still really excited about birthdays, so his is usually kind of a sad excuse for a celebration. (Sorry homie, it isn't intentional!) This year was no exception. He opened up a couple presents and we ate icecream. But I do want to let him know how much we love and appreciate all he does! He is the most amazing person I know! Thanks for everything, and Happy Birthday!!!

Strawberries and Late Nights...
We went and picked strawberries with friends. I think I had more fun than the kids, I love being out in the country!!!
You can't tell from this picture, but Bailey has strawberry juice from her hands all the way down to her elbows, and all over her dress. She was very content to sit in the stroller and hold the bucket of strawberries while I picked them. Only about 2/3 of the berries stayed in the bucket!

Guess who's ONE!!!
Poor Bailey, her birthday was squished in between a last soccer game, a soccer party, a last cheer game, YM basketball, and a baptism. She didn't seem to mind. Cupcakes and her new horsie are her new favorite things!
I can't believe it has been a year since we brought this little girl home. Time has flown by! She is our little Texan. She definitely has an attitude the size of Texas, but luckily she has a heart that is even bigger. We love you Bailey!

Tuna Melts & Soup
Have you ever had one of those nights that just comes together? I have been really tired all week, and it is Friday. I was not looking forward to the last couple of hours before Mark gets home to save the day! My neighbor came over and told me that they were going out of town for the weekend and we could go swimming in their pool while they were gone.
I wasn't sure I wanted to take all 4 kids swimming by myself, but we found all our floaties, lathered everyone with sunscreen and went swimming.
Everyone had such a good time and not even one fight!
We came home and everyone SCARFED down tuna melts and bean with bacon soup. Not a very common combo, but that's what we had. It turned out to be an unexpected good night. I love it when that happens.

NO MORE CARPET!!!
Whoever thought carpet in the master bathroom was ok, is seriously delusional!!! We finally got it taken out and put in tile. We also had nasty white tile and white grout in our shower that had turned a nice black color. NO MORE!!!
I will now have to repaint the walls, but I am not complaining, NO MORE CARPET!!!

She Did It!!!
Kasidee has always struggled with her motor skills. It took her weeks, but she finally made it to the top of the rockwall. She was so excited!!! Way to go Kas!!!
We love you Kasidee, we are so blessed to have you in our family!
Kasidee is also doing cheer at the YMCA. She is in a squad with girls 2 years older than her, but I am so proud of her. She tries so hard!! She is having fun, and she couldn't get any cuter! (Little chicken legs, those came from Mark by the way.)
We love you Kasidee, we are so blessed to have you in our family!
