Magical Season

Moving to Las Vegas has definitely been an adjustment.  However, the elementary school here offers flag football and cheerleading.
It has been a lifesaver.  Parker is playing flag football, and Kas, Addison, and Bailey are cheering.
Bailey is actually on the pep squad, which has been so fun!  She learns all the same cheers as the cheerleaders, and then they cheer with one of the cheer squads every Saturday.
Addison made the Freshman cheer team.  They had a mixup with uniforms, so they are in school tee-shirts for the first few games.
"Everywhere we go, people want to know, who we are, so we tell them..."
 "Go Wolves!!"
Addison has come out of her shell and really enjoyed cheering with her classmates and sister.

Kasidee is on the varsity team.  She cheers for Parker's varsity football team each week.  I have been so proud of Kas!  The cheers they are learning have been very challenging, and she has risen to the occasion, practiced really hard, and done really well. (You may be wondering why I took a picture of their backsides...well, if you look close, you can see Parker in the background.)
This little tiny girl yells from her toes.  When her coach yells, "louder," she takes it upon herself to raise the volume for the whole team!:)
Here is the whole team.  Can't wait until they get their cute uniforms and pom poms.

Parker has played flag football at the YMCA, but they aren't allowed to block in that league...here they are.
I have been in shock to see the size of the kids on the opposing teams.  There is no way some of these kids are in 5th grade.  And the face paint, don't even get me started on how scary that is!  Parker has already caught a 10 yard pass and ran it 40 into the end-zone, and then caught a pass for a 2 point conversion.  It has been so fun to watch him!
Oh, and yes, there is even a mascot!
