Could I be any weaker?!?!?

How embarrassing!!! Mark got me a gym membership for Christmas, it has been so awesome. Well today I lifted for the first time since college. I finished with one of the machines, and an older lady got on after me. She had to switch the setting to add more weight. Could I be any WEAKER!?!?! My new goal is to out lift the old lady!!!

Angie good for you! Is that the lady or did you find that picture?? Funny. Now tell Markley that he needs his own blogging identity and photo. He wrote that comment on our blog right? I just can't imagine you saying that... and the ice cream points to Markley :).

Mel Rossi can do 9 pull ups. I am determined to do that. I just hang from the bar and struggle. If Cater or Callie walk by I beg them to push my booty up....even then I can't do one....dang Rossi.

I workout at home so I got the p90x workout. I'm LOVING it. don't worry--you'll get there. that is funny about the old lady though. lol

I have been sore ALL week even though I worked out before.

I'm impressed you are going to the gym at all. I don't have the mojo. I like to run, ride bikes with the kids, and now I'm in love with the Wii Fit. You're in the big time with actual gym attendance, congrats!

This lady, about my age, kept smiling at me at the gym last night. I had my MP3 player going or we might have chatted. She was going strong on the recliner type bike and I thought, wow she's really fit. She got up a bit later to do some free weights and I noticed she was about 6 months pregnant. I never looked fit while pregnant. I just want to look fit now. Going to do some sit ups...

Ok. That's funny! I know the feeling though. When I teach aerobics, I'm always the first one to wimp out... And I'm suppose to be the teacher!

She probably was stronger than you because you weren't wearing sweet shoes like I have. I'm sure that the lady was wearing a pair of them because they're orthopedic! And just for the record, I can only do 7 pull-ups not 9.
