Funny Story

I know I have already posted today, but I had to write this story down before I forgot. (And forgetting is happening faster and faster these days.)
I took all four kids to help me vacuum the car out today. I pulled everyone out, including Bailey and her car-seat, and went over to get quarters out of the change machine.
There were 3 workers who were doing some construction work around the car wash place. I got my change, but they seemed to be talking amongst themselves in hushed tones while looking in my direction.
I didn't think anything of it at the time, I usually get lots of looks and comments with 4 kids...Well, I vacuumed out the car, loaded everyone back in, climbed in the car, and looked in the rear-view mirror...I looked like I had a big shiner on my right eye. I did a double take, and it was mascara. I had run out of the house without even looking in the mirror.
I laughed to myself. Those men could have been talking about the poor lady with all the kids, whose husband beats her. (:
Note to self: Learn Spanish!

Where is it all coming from?!?!

I thought I had a pretty clean house, until Bailey started crawling. Every time I turn around, she has something else in her mouth...a little piece of food, a fuz, a little hair rubberband...Where is all of it coming from?!?!?

guess what this little girl is doing...

There is no stopping her now. She has taken off and she is loving her new found freedom.
Addison loves playing with her little sister! I'm so glad they are such great friends.

Dad's the BEST

Mark had Presidents' Day off, and I wasn't the only one who was happy. Addison found the perfect spot to watch some morning cartoons.

I think Kasidee's "fly moves" came from Mark's side of the family! This is a nightly routine at our house. The kids love singing songs with dad.

We took a trip to the YMCA to do a little rock-climbing. I did a little climbing in high school and college and fell in love. Parker took to it really fast. Addison and Kasidee had to learn to trust the rope, but as soon as they did, they were having a blast.

Beware of motion sickness, I was driving and holding the camera in Addison's general direction. She sang this song the entire way to the YMCA, it was a good 10 minutes.

The many faces of Bailey

This poor girl has had a runny nose since Thanksgiving. I HATE TEETHING!!! She still is so cute though, runny nose and all!

Pleasing Everyone...

Addison saw the yummy sugar cookies at the grocery store, so I promised her that we would use the new cookie cutters from grandma to make our own yummy cookies. Thanks mom, we had a lot of fun making cookies!
Addison ate more cookie dough, and cookies than was humanly possible.

I made pizza for dinner and this is how we had to make everyone happy...
me: mushrooms, green peppers, olives, & pineapple
Parker and Addison: only pineapple
Kasidee: pepperoni, olives, & pineapple
Mark: pepperoni & pineapple
WOW!!!!! Is everyone happy now?!?!?

Weekend of Sports

Our stake has had problems with good sportsmanship in the past. So instead of having months of sports, they have condensed it into a weekend tournament. I don't know how healthy and safe it is to have old men who don't normally exercise, come out and play basketball for 2 days straight!!! But they seem to have a good time, even if they can't move for a week after. (: I love you Mark!
Mark is on the far left, his brother Greg has the ball, and my sister-in-law Angie's brother is in the black tee-shirt and white shorts. Mark's team took first place over all, but I think he would have really liked to win this game against his brother.
We went to Greg and Angie's for the Superbowl. Good food, good tv, good surround sound, and most of all good company. Thanks for hosting Greg and Angie!
I took the kids home at half-time to put them to bed. Mark stayed to watch the game. I think maybe Dave would have appreciated it if I would have taken Mark home too.
