Why are they so eager to walk away and be independent?
They want to be big so bad! They don't want to need anyone.
They want to climb higher and higher, further and further away.
Some are more cautious than others, scared to take the first step, but they still do.
Some climb as fast as they can, never looking back, all the way to the top.
But then they have a moment, when they look back, make sure you are there, ready to catch them. Letting you know they still need you. They still count on you, they still can't do it alone.

Holy cow!!!! Okay that isn't fair... Little kids have no fear! I usually get about three feet off the ground on the rock wall and then I give up because its getting to high! So wait to go Cass! You can out climb your 17 year old cousin! Anyways I haven't seen you guys in a long time! You better be coming to the family reunion! We will party like our lives depended on it Park! Love you all!
