Proud to be a Texan

Today while we were running some errands, Parker saw an American flag and asked, "Mom, what kind of flag is that?" I replied, "an American flag." Parker paused for a second and said, "Oh, I thought it was a Texas flag." I told my dad, and he said we needed to hurry and move away from Texas before our kids are completely brainwashed.

Cute! We love Parker. Now I expect to see some Thanksgiving pictures here, tomorrow right? After you hit the sales? Happy Thanksgiving! We wish we could have been together with you.

I COMPLETELY AGREE with your dad. This is Craig saying this by the way.

Oh the Texas pride! I don't think kids in other states even know that there is a state flag at that age!:)

cute. I was surprised that the kids actually have to recite the pledge of allegiance to Texas, not the US. lol BTW, we totally meant to have Parker over so he could play the guitar with Christian. we'll have to do it soon!

Have you asked him to repeat the Texas pledge for you yet? I was a little alarmed when I heard that one for the first time! Cute kid!
